Wildfire Series

In 2015, wildfires torched a record number of square miles of Washington state, surpassing the 2014 season's record.  Some of the places that burned were places that I had painted in years prior.   I have included older paintings that were painted on these sites prior to burning.  Many of the paintings in the series utilize charcoal found on the site.
